Official text

(1) All Inspecting Officers, if requested by the employer or manager of the establishment, shall produce an authorized identification card issued electronically or otherwise.

(2) Identification cards shall be issued for Medical Officers appointed under section 42, by Director of Medical and Health Services or the Labour Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh or by their respective appointing authorities. For Inspector-cum-Facilitator, the Identification cards may be issued by the Labour Commissioner or the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator electronically or otherwise.
