Rule 34. Appointment of officers and other staff of the State Advisory Board under sub-section (2) of section 17

Official text

(1) The State Government may appoint as many Gazetted officers of the state Government and such other staff, being in the service of the state Government, as it may think necessary to enable the Board to carry out its functions and duties.
(2) The remuneration payable to such officers and staff shall be such as may be decided by the State Government from time to time.
(3) The officers and staff appointed thereunder shall assist the Chairperson of the Board in convening meetings of the Board.
(4) The officers and staff appointed thereunder, may attend the meetings of the Board, but shall not be entitled to vote at such meetings.
(5) The officers and staff appointed thereunder, shall keep a record of the minutes of the meetings of the State Advisory Board.
(6) The officers and staff appointed thereunder, shall take necessary measures to carry out the decisions taken at the meetings of the Board.
