Rule 11. Special provisions for health, safety and welfare measures for other apprentices

Official text

(1) Where any apprentices or other apprentices are undergoing training in an establishment the provisions of the Code and Rules shall apply in relation to the health, safety and welfare of these apprentices as if they were workers within the meaning of the Code.

(2) Provisions of the sub-section (1) and (4) of section 25 and the rules made thereunder in relation with normal working hours shall apply to the ‘other apprentices’ as if they were workers within the meaning of the Code.
