Official text

(1) Every employer shall issue wage slips, electronically or otherwise, to the workers in such form, as prescribed, by the rules made by the appropriate Government under the Code on Wages, 2019 (Act No. 29 of 2019) on or before the payment of wages.

(2) The wage slip for the payment of overtime work shall be separate from that of regular wage and overtime hours worked by the worker shall be mentioned in it.
