Rule 65. Application for renewal

(1) Every application for renewal of a licence under sub-section (5) of section 74 of the Code shall be made in Form-XXII to the designated authority, either manually or by registered post, or electronically or through the portal, as may be notified by the State Government.

(2) The fee for renewal of the licence shall be paid either manually or by registered post, or electronically or through the portal, as may be notified by the State Government.

(3) Every application for renewal of licence shall be submitted manually or by registered post, or electronically or through the portal, as may be notified by the State Government atleast forty five days prior to expiry of the licence period but not before 90 days of such expiry of licence.

(4) The reason for refusal of renewal of licence shall be intimated to the employer within thirty days of receipt of application under sub-rule (1).
