Rule 53. Suspension or cancellation of licence

Official text

If the contractor fails to give intimation to the authority referred in sub section (1) of section 119 of the Code after affording an opportunity of being heard, if satisfied that the failure of intimation is intentional, the authority may suspend or cancel the licence:

Provided that the contractor, if aggrieved by an order of the licensing authority within thirty days of receipt of order, may file an appeal to appellate authority notified under rule 54.
