Rule 18. Presiding over of the Meeting

Chapter IV — Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board.Made under The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020No. B-11011/12/2026-LESDE, 12 Aug 2026

Official text

(1) The Chairman shall preside over every meeting of the Board.
(2) If the Chairman is absent at any time, he may nominate a member of the Board to preside over such a meeting in his place and in the absence of such a nomination by the Chairman, the members of the Board present in such meeting may elect one among them and the member so elected shall preside over that meeting.
(3) The member who presided over the meeting as per sub-rule (2) shall have and exercise all the powers and rights of the Chairman.
