Rule 72. Housing accommodation for plantation workers

Chapter XIII — PlantationMade under The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020G.O.Rt. No. 146, 6 Aug 2026

Official text

Every employer shall provide for every worker and his family residing in a plantation, housing accommodation as near as possible to the place of work. It shall be open to an employer to provide such accommodation in the course of several years, provided that houses shall be built for atleast eight per cent of the resident workers every year.
