Rule 110. Appointment and qualification of Supervisors

Official text

The use, handling, storage and transportation of insecticides, chemicals and toxic substances shall be supervised by a competent person who should possess the following qualifications: -
(1) He shall a graduate in Agriculture or in science, or he shall possess a Certificate Course on handling of chemicals and toxic substances conducted by the United Planters’ Association of Southern India (UPASI)
(2) He should be given training from a designated Training Institute and
(3) He should also possess a valid certificate from St. John's Ambulance Institute for giving first aid treatment to workers.
