Rule 99. Transfer of factory licence

Official text

(1) The holder of a licence may, at any time before the expiry of the licence, apply for permission to transfer his licence to another person.
(2) Such application shall be made on portal in Form-49 The designated authority shall transfer the license after duty satisfying himself.
(3) A fee of rupees five hundred shall be charged for such transfer.
(4) If the designated authority fails to transfer the license within seven days, then such license shall be deemed to have been transferred.
