Rule 30. Manner of filling vacancies

Official text

When a vacancy occurs or is likely to occur in the membership of the Board, the Member Secretary of the Board shall submit a report to the Union Territory Administration of Lakshadweep and on receipt of such report, the Union Territory Administration of Lakshadweep may, by notification, nominate a person to fill the vacancy and the person so nominated shall hold office for the remainder of the term of office of the member in whose place he is nominated.
