Rule 63. Renewal of license for contractor

(1) Every contractor to whom a license is issued under rule 62 shall make an application for renewal to the designated authority on portal in the Form-24 thirty days before the expiry of license.

(2) The designated authority shall renew the license in Form-25 within thirty days from the date of receipt of application.

(3) If the designated authority fails to renew license to a contractor under the application complete in all respect so made or to entertain the application within the period of thirty days, then such license shall deemed to have been renewed on the expiration of thirty days.

(4) Automatic Renewal of License. - (i) A license shall be renewed for one year digitally through automatic mode if there is no change in particulars of license from the previous granted or renewed license and other conditions required by Government.

(ii) For the purposes of clause (i) of sub-rule (4), every application for the renewal of license shall be made in Form-27 together with the fees for a period of one year, and shall be submitted on the portal not less than thirty days before the date on which the license is to expire.

(iii)The fees for renewal of license for one year shall be as specified in the Schedule given under Schedule under rule 46:

(iv) The license generated under this rule shall have the same sanctity as renewed under sub-rule (2)
