Rule 111. Information on industrial wastes

(1) The information furnished under rules 108, 109 and 110 shall include the quantity of solid and liquid wastes generated per day, their characteristics and the method of treatment such as incineration of solid wastes, chemical and biological treatment or liquid wastes, and arrangements for their final disposal.

(2) It shall also include information on the quality and quantity of gaseous waste discharged through the stacks or other openings, and arrangements such as provision of scrubbers, cyclone separators, and electrostatic precipitators or similar such arrangements made for controlling pollution of the environment.

(3) The occupier shall also furnish information specified in sub-rules (1) and (2) to the Lakshadweep Pollution Control Committee.
