Rule 7. Grant of certificate of Registration

(1) The registering officer, after receiving the application under sub-rule (1) of rule 6, shall register the establishment and issue a certificate of registration electronically to the employer thereof in such form and within such time and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Government.

Provided that if the Registering Officer fails to issue registration to an establishment, in case application is complete in all respects so made or to entertain the application within the period prescribed by Government, then such establishment shall be deemed to have been issued the registration certificate immediately after the expiration of such period.

(2) The registering officer shall maintain a register in Form-6, showing the particulars of establishment in relation to which the certificate of registration has been issued by him.
