Rule 19. Constitution of Lakshadweep Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board under sub-sections (2) of Section 17

(1) The Lakshadweep Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board (hereinafter referred to in these rules as the Board) shall consist of the following, namely: -(i) Secretary (LE&T), UTLA - Chairperson (Ex-officio) (ii) Director (LE&T), UTLA - Member (iii) Director (Industries), UTLA - Member (iv) SE, LPWD, UTLA - Member (v) Director (Medical & Health Service), UTLA - Member (vi) Labour Enforcement Officer, UTLA - Member Secretary (vii) Two representatives of employers to be nominated by Secretary (LE&T), UTLA as Members.

(viii) Two representatives of employees to be nominated by the Secretary (LE&T), UTLA as Members.

(2) The terms of office of the members referred to in clauses (vii) and (viii) shall be of three years.
