Rule 85. Timeline for renewal or refusal to renew licence

Official text

(1) The authority designated under section 119 shall renew or refuse to renew the license within thirty days from the date of receipt of application for renewal.

(2) If the designated authority fails to grant license to a any place or premise for beedi or cigar work under the application complete in all respect so made or to entertain the application within the period of thirty days, then such license shall deemed to have been renewed on the expiration of thirty days.
