Rule 85. Appointment of Inspector-cum-Facilitators

Official text

(1) The State Government may, by notification, in the Official Gazette, appoint such number of its officers as it thinks fit to be Inspector-cum-Facilitators for the purpose of this Code and rules made thereafter, in relation to the provisions for which the appropriate Government is the State Government and may assign to them such local limits as it may think fit.

(2) Every Inspector-cum-Facilitator shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of sub-section (28) of Section 2 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Act no. 45 of 2023).
