Official text

(1) The Member-Secretary of the Board shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.
(2) As the Chief Executive Officer of the Board he shall exercise such administrative and financial powers as may be authorized by the Board from time to time.
(3) The Chief Executive Officer shall with the approval of the Chairperson, issue notice to convene a meeting of the Board and shall keep the records of the minutes of such meetings and shall take necessary steps for carrying out the decisions of the Board.
(4) The Chief Executive Officer may with the prior concurrence of the State Government appoint such other officers and employees as its staff to assist the Board in the efficient discharge of the functions of the Board under the Code.
