Rule 77. Time limit for disposal of application

Official text

(1) Every application under the Code shall be tried as expeditiously as possible, and endeavor shall be made to conclude the trial within six months from the date of service of notice of the application on the opposite party.

(2) In the cases, where the period of six months has been expired, hearing shall be conducted day-to-day.
