Rule 13. Reconstitution of the Board

Official text

(1) The State Government shall initiate the process for reconstitution of the Board, six months prior to the expiry of the term of the Board.
(2) Where for any reason whatsoever, it appears to the State Government that it is not in a position to constitute or reconstitute a Board in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (2) of rule 3, as the case may be, the State Government considers it expedient to do so it, may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a person to be known as the Administrator for a period not exceeding six months or till the Board is duly constituted or reconstituted under sub-rule (2) of rule 3, as the case may be, whichever is earlier.
(3) The decision taken by the Administrator, appointed under sub-rule (2), shall have the same effect as if it has been carried out by the Board itself.
