Rule 54. Appointment of competent authority under sub-section (1) of section 58

The State Government, by notification, shall appoint a Gazetted Officer, having the post of Assistant Labour Commissioner, to be a Competent Authority, who shall be responsible for the administration of Chapter-V of the Code and rules made thereafter specifying the area of their jurisdiction.
