Rule 9. Night shift

When employee work in shift in such an employment which continue beyond after mid night then-

(a) For the purpose of rule 8, in this case, complete rest day means 24 hours continuous duration started at the end of his shift, and

(b) In such case, next day shall be 24 hours commencing from the time of completion of such shift and the hours after midnight during which such employee has worked shall be counted in previous day.
