an employee, as the case may be-
(i) any advance given to an employee after the commencement of his employment under clause (b) of section 23, or
(ii) the advance of pay of an employee which has not been earned by him under clause (c) of section 23 shall be paid by the employer from the pay of the employee concerned in such instalments as may be determined so that no any instalment or the aggregate of all the instalments shall exceed fifty per cent of the pay of the employee for that pay period and the particulars of such recovery shall be recorded in aregister
