The Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh) Payment of Wages Rules, 1936 and the Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh) Minimum Wages Rules, 1952 shall be deemed to be repealed from the date of final notification of these rules. Notwithstanding such repeal under sub-rule (1),
(2) anything done or any action taken under the rules so repealed, including any notification, nomination, appointment, order or direction thereunder or the amount of wages provided under any provision of such rules for any purpose, shall be deemed to have been done or taken or provided for such purpose under the corresponding provisions of this rule and shall, to the extent it is not contrary to the provisions of this rule, continue to be in force under the corresponding provisions of this rule or until repealed by a notification to that effect by the State Government. Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-rule (3)
