Rule 36. Renewal of license under Section 48

(1) Every contractor shall apply electronically on the portal of the Department of Labour & Employment or otherwise to the Authority for renewal of the license.

(2) Every such application shall be submitted electronically on the said portal or otherwise at least 30 days prior to expiry of license period but not before 90 days of such expiry of license.

(3) The security deposit and the fee chargeable for renewal of the license shall be the same as for the grant of license under Rule 35 (3).

Provided if the application for renewal is not received within the time specified in sub-rule (2), an additional fee of twenty five per cent, shall be payable for such renewal.

(4) It shall be the responsibility of the authority concerned to renew the license within seven working days of receipt of application.
