Rule 27. Appointment of Medical Officer under sub-section (1) of Section 42

The Medical Officer shall be a medical practitioner who possesses any recognized medical qualification as defined in the sections 35, 36, 37 and 40 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019(30 of 2019) and who is enrolled in National Register or State Register as defined in section 31 thereof.
