Rule 26. Manner of Providing Alternate Employment under sub-clause (d) of clause (A) of sub-section (1) of Section 38

The occupier of the factory or establishment may take necessary steps under sub-clause (d) of clause (A) of sub-section (1) of Section 38, and as far as practicable, provide alternate employment to the workers affected by the order of the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator. Where it may not be possible for the occupier to provide such employment, he shall be responsible for making payment of salary or wages to the affected workers during the period for which the prohibition order is in operation.
