The Medical Officer shall perfom the examination and certification of the workers in a factory or in such other establishments where the cases of illness have occurred which it is reasonable to believe are due to the nature of any process carried on or other conditions of work prevailing in such establishments and inform the occupier, owner, Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator and the appropriate Government for study and remedial measures as may be required in this behalf.
