NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026
S.O. 2379(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 70 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020), the Central Government hereby specifies the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table as the authority for the purposes of issue of notice of retrenchment, within the areas specified in column (3) of the said Table, namely:— Table Sl. 10. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and (Central) in Chandigarh Region Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh.
11. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Jharkhand, except the districts of Pakur, (Central) in Dhanbad Region Latehar, Garhwa, Palamu, Sahibganj, Dumka and Godda.
12. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The States of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, (Central) in Guwahati Region Manipur, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
