NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026

S.O. 2317(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 89 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020), the Central Government hereby specifies the following officers in column (2) of the Table to exercise the functions relating to composition of offences under the said section in respect of industrial establishments for which the Central Government is the appropriate Government, within the areas specified against each in column (3) of the said Table, namely: -

All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Maharashtra except the districts of (Central) in Mumbai Region Nagpur, Bhandara, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Chandrapur, Beed, Gadchiroli, Nanded, Parbhani, Yavatmal, Osmanabad, Latur, Gondia, Washim and Hingoli and the State of Goa.

8. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of West Bengal except the districts of (Central) in Kolkata Region Bardhaman East, Bardhaman West, Birbhum, Bankura and Purulia in the State of West Bengal, the State of Sikkim and the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

9. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Kerala and the Union territory of (Central) in Cochin Region Lakshadweep and the district of Mahe in the Union territory of Puducherry.

10. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana (Central) in Chandigarh Region and Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh.

11. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Jharkhand excluding the districts of (Central) in Dhanbad Region Pakur, Latehar, Garhwa, Palamu, Sahibganj, Dumka and Godda.

12. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The States of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, (Central) in Guwahati Region Manipur, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.

13. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the (Central) in Hyderabad Region area of Yanam of the Union territory of Puducherry.

14. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Madhya Pradesh. (Central) in Jabalpur Region

15. 16. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Uttarakhand and the districts of (Central) in Dehradun Region Saharanpur, Bijnaur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Moradabad, Badaun, Jyotiba Phule Nagar (Amroha), Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Baghpat, Hapur, Shamli and Gautam Budh Nagar in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

17. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The State of Tamil Nadu and the Union territory of (Central) in Chennai Region Puducherry except the districts of Mahe and Yanam.

18. All Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners The districts of Nagpur, Bhandara, Akola, Amravati, (Central) in Nagpur Region Wardha, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Chandrapur, Beed, Gadchiroli, Nanded, Parbhani, Yavatmal, Osmanabad, Latur, Gondia, Washim and Hingoli in the State of Maharashtra.
