MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 25th August, 2026

S.O. 4711(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Code on Wages, 2019 (29 of 2019), the Central Government hereby determines that every employee drawing wages not exceeding twenty-one thousand rupees per mensum shall be paid bonus as specified in the said sub-section.

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st day of November, 2025.
