MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026
S.O. 2457(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to sub-section (1) of section 39 of the Code on Wages, 2019 (29 of 2019), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. No.2765 (E), dated the 28th August, 1965, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby specifies the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be authority, to exercise the powers conferred on them by the said proviso, in relation to which the Central Government is the appropriate Government, in respect of the establishments situated within the area of jurisdiction specified in column (3) of the said Table thereof, namely:–
