MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026

S.O. 2313(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of section 2 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the Officers, mentioned in column (2) of the Table to perform the functions of a certifying officer in the areas specified in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-

7. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Odisha. (Central) in Bhubaneshwar region

8. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Maharashtra, except the districts of Nagpur, (Central) in Mumbai region Bhandara, Akola, Beed, Amravati, Wardha, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Chandrapur, Nanded, Gadchiroli, Parbhanai, Latur, Yavatmal, Osmanabad, Hingoli, Gondia and Washim, and the State of Goa.

9. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of West Bengal, except the districts of (Central) in Kolkata region Bardhaman East, Bardhaman West, Birbhum, Bankura and Purulia, the State of Sikkim and the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

10. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Kerala and the Union territory of (Central) in Cochin region Lakshadweep and the district of Mahe in the Union territory of Puducherry.

11. All Regional Labour Commissioners The States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and (Central) in Chandigarh region Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh.

12. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Jharkhand, except the districts of Gharwha, (Central) in Dhanbad region Latehar, Sahebganj, Pakur, Dumka, Palamu and Godda.

13. All Regional Labour Commissioners The States of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, (Central) in Guwahati region Manipur, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.

14. All Regional Labour Commissioners The States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the area (Central) in Hyderabad region of Yanam in the Union territory of Puducherry.

15. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Madhya Pradesh. (Central) in Jabalpur region

All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Uttar Pradesh, except the districts of (Central) in Kanpur region Saharanpur, Bijnaur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Moradabad, Badaun, Jyotiba Phule Nagar (Amroha), Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Baghpat, Hapur, Shamli and Gautam Budh Nagar.

17. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Uttarakhand and the districts of Saharanpur, (Central) in Dehradun region Bijnaur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Moradabad, Badaun, Jyotiba Phule Nagar (Amroha), Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Baghpat, Hapur, Shamli and Gautam Budh Nagar in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

18. All Regional Labour Commissioners The State of Tamil Nadu and the Union territory of (Central) in Chennai region Puducherry, except the districts of Yanam and Mahe.

19. All Regional Labour Commissioners The districts of Nagpur, Bhandara, Akola, Amravati, (Central) in Nagpur region Wardha, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Chandrapur, Beed, Gadchiroli, Nanded, Parbhani, Yavatmal, Osmanabad, Latur, Gondia, Washim and Hingoli in the State of Maharashtra.
