MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th April, 2026
S.O. 2144(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the third proviso to First Schedule of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of May, 2026, as the date on and from which the contribution from the employers and employees of establishments in the entire areas of the Andrott, Amini, Kadmat, Kalpeni, Chetlat, and Kiltan Islands in the Union territory of Lakshdweep shall be payable under section 29 and any benefits under Chapter IV relating to the Employees State Insurance Corporation will be provided by the Corporation to the employees of such establishments.
