54. An employer intending to close down an industrial establishment falling under Chapter X of the Code shall, at least ninety days before the date of proposed closure, apply electronically to the State Government for prior permission in Form-T. The application must an clearly state the reasons for the proposed closure, and a copy of the application shall be sent electronically and by registered post to the workers' representatives. The of applicant shall display the application in Hindi and English on the notice board at the main entrance of the industrial establishment and on the electronic board.
