Rule 51. Manner of making application to the State Government by the employer for the intended lay-off and the manner of serving copy of such application workers

An application for permission under sub-section (1) of Section 78 shall be made by the employer to the State Government in Form-T clearly stating the reasons for the lay-off. A copy of such application shall also be sent by the employer to the concerned worker through electronic means and by registered post. The employer shall prominently display such application in both to English and Hindi on the notice board or electronic board located at the main entrance of the industrial establishment.
