NOTIFICATION

Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department

Sachivalaya, Gandlinagar.

Dated the 06 June,2025.

No. GHR/2025/76/FAC/142021/68396/M3: - WHEREAS certain draft rules were published as Occupational Safety, Health required by sub-section (I) of section 133 and sub-section (I) of Section 135 of the and Working Occupational safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), at pages 174-1 Conditions Code, 2020 to 174-74 in the Gujarat Government Gazette, Extraordinary. Part- IV A, dated the 31%l December, 202l, under the Government Notification, Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department No.GHR/2021/154/FAC/142021/68396/M3, dated 30th Deccmbcr, 2021, inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within a period of forty-five days from the date of publication of the said notification in the Official Gazette;

AND WHEREAS objections received in respect of the said fraft notification have been considered by the Government; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 133 and section 135 of the Occupational safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020) read with section 24 of' the Genercal Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897) and in supersession of the Gujarat Factories Rules, 1963; the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Scrvicc) Rules. 2003; the Gujarat Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1965; the Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) (Gujarat) Rules, 1968; the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) (Gujarat) Rules, 1972; and the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions bf Service)(Gujarat) Rules, 1981,the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
