Rule 14. Withdrawal or Cancellation of Registration

Chapter III — Trade UnionsMade under The Industrial Relations Code, 2020S.O. 41, 12 Aug 2026

Official text

The Registrar, on receipt ofan application for the withdrawal or cancellation of registration, shall before granting the application satisfy himself that the withdrawal or the cancellation of registration was approved by a general meeting of the trade union or if it was not approved then it has the approval of the majority of the members of the Trade Union. For this purpose, he may call for such particulars as he may deem necessary and may examine any officer of the union.
