Rule 49. Manner of making application to the State Government by the employer for the intended retrenchment and manner of serving copy of such application to workers under sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Code

Official text

An application for permission referred to in subsection (1) of section 79 of the Code shall be made by the employer in Form- XVIII stating clearly therein the reasons for the intended retrenchment and a copy of such application shall also be sent to workers electronically and by registered post or speed post. Such application shall also be displayed conspicuously by the employer on a notice board or on electronic board at the main entrance to the industrial establishment.
