Rule 40. Registers to be maintained by employers

Every employer to whom Code on Wages, 2019 applies shall maintain following registers-(i) mentioning the details of wages, overtime, fines, various deduction made in accordance with the Code in Form-I;

(ii) as per the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 50 of the Code in Form-II;

(iii) nomination form as per the provisions of Clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 44 of the Code in Form-XII;

(iv) all the registers shall be maintained in physical format or in a digital format electronically;

(v) registers required to be maintained under these rules shall be preserved for a period of 5 years after the date of the last entry made therein.
