Rule 48. Manner of making application to the UT of Lakshadweep Administration by the employer for the intended lay-off and the manner of serving copy of such application to workers under sub-section (2) of section 78

Official text

An application for permission under sub-section (1) of section 78 shall be made by the employer in Form- XV stating clearly therein the reasons for the intended lay off and a copy of such application shall be served simultaneously to the worker concerned electronically and by registered post or speed post. Such application shall also be displayed conspicuously by the employer on a notice board or on electronic board at the main entrance of the industrial establishment.
