Rule 2. Definition

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires: -

a) "code" means the Industrial Relations Code, 2020;

b) "electronically" means any information submitted by email or uploading on the designated portal or digital payment in any mode for the purpose of Code;

c) "form" means a form appended to these rules;

d) "Protected worker" means a worker who has been recognized as such under section 90(3) [Explanation] of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.

e) "section" means the section of the Code;

f) "tribunal" means Industrial Tribunal constituted under Section 44 of the Industrial Relation Code, 2020 by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

(2) The words and expressions used in these rules which are not defined therein, but are defined in the Code, shall have their respective meaning as assigned to them in the Code.
