For the purpose of Section 53 (1), the Union Territory Administration of Lakshadweep may appoint any officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary Labour, Govt. of India or an officer of equivalent rank in the UT of Lakshadweep Administration, as the case may be, for holding enquiry in such manner, as may be prescribed by the Government
