Who decides the minimum wage for my job?
- Your rate is notified by the appropriate Government s. 5.
- That is the Central Government for its own establishments and for railways, mines, oil fields, major ports, air transport, telecommunication, banking and insurance companies and central public sector undertakings s. 2(d)(i).
- For any other establishment, it is the State Government s. 2(d)(ii).
