Am I entitled to an experience or service certificate?
- Under the model standing orders, you get a service certificate showing your work, designation and period of employment within ten days of leaving order 13(1)(ii).
- A contractor must give contract labour an experience certificate on demand OSH s. 56.
The model standing orders are for industrial establishments with three hundred or more workers (IR Code s. 28(1)), and your employer's certified standing orders may differ. Elsewhere, check your appointment letter, and see what applies at a smaller workplace.
