How and when do I tell my employer about maternity leave?
- Give written notice, in Form-XI or on plain paper. Not giving notice does not take away your benefit rule 35(2)(a) s. 62(6).
- Your employer must pay the part before delivery in advance on proof of pregnancy, and the rest within forty-eight hours of proof of delivery s. 62(5).
