Medical examinations in mines

What to do
Arrange an initial medical examination for every person seeking employment in the mine, and a periodical examination every year for everyone employed in it, including contract labour, in Form IX rule 109(1) rule 60.

Every mine rule 109(1).
When
Before employment, and then every year rule 60.
How
The examination is by a qualified medical practitioner employed or assigned by the employer, or by a Government Medical Officer rule 110(1).
A woman employee is examined by a female qualified medical practitioner, or by a male practitioner in the presence of another woman rule 116.
The employer bears the cost, unless the person is declared unfit after re-examination by the appellate medical board rule 121.
Give contract labour medical facilities at par with regular employees rule 60.
