What can the authority order on a wage claim?
- It can order what you are owed plus compensation of up to ten times that amount, and should try to decide within three months s. 45(2).
- If your employer still does not pay, the authority sends a recovery certificate to the Collector or District Magistrate, who recovers it as arrears of land revenue s. 45(3).
