What are standing orders and who needs them?
- They are the written rules on conditions of service, such as classification, hours, leave, termination and misconduct First Schedule.
- They are needed in an industrial establishment with three hundred or more workers, now or on any day of the preceding twelve months s. 28(1).
- Until your own are certified, the Model Standing Orders are treated as adopted s. 29(2).
