Who is responsible for depositing PF deducted from wages?
- If your employer deducts money for your provident fund or another fund and does not deposit it, you are not responsible for that failure s. 18(5).
- A sum deducted from your wages counts as money entrusted to your employer to pay your contribution G.S.R. 525(E), paragraph 22.
- Not paying contributions is an offence s. 133.
